Artistic Fall

One of my favorite parts of going to parent-teacher conferences is getting to see the artwork the kids have been making. I thought Amber captured the Fall season perfectly in this piece.

Fireworks Finale

Tonight wrapped up Valley Center's Fall Festival for 2010. A magic show, a concert by Of The Rescue, good food, seeing old friends and making new ones. The weather was great and the temperature was cool. Cool enough for wearing jackets. I snapped this photo of the fireworks finale. If you look at it right, it looks like a glowing dandelion, don't you think?

Fall Festival

One of the greatest nights of our year! Every year, we look forward to this day. It's so much fun. The morning parade, the delicious food, the carnival, it's all great! But it's the community of people we enjoy more than anything. Still, the food is pretty darn good!

Fall in the Front

These pictures were taken just a couple of weeks ago. These are the trees in our front yard. As you can tell by the thinning of the top of the tree on the left, I waited just about a week too long to take the pictures, but the color wasn't as vibrant as it is in the pictures you see here. I chose to go for color. Two days later, all of these leaves were gone due to strong winds leading in a cold front. I'm glad I got the pictures when I did.
